Theresa Ho
After getting a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology / Neuroscience from UC Berkeley, Theresa settled in Yosemite on what was meant to be a rock climbing sabbatical in April 2003. Then, as Lee Hayes would put it, that sabbatical turned into a Mondical and a Tuesdical. She and her husband have been living full-time in Yosemite ever since. Over the years, she’s worked as a ski instructor at Badger Pass Ski and Snowboard Area, assistant manager at the Yosemite Mountaineering School, and as a digital marketer. Currently, when not working as a marketing freelancer, you’ll find Theresa out hiking, climbing, and skiing through Yosemite’s beautiful landscapes, curled up with drawing toys and watercolors, or saying hello to folks staying at her vacation rental in Yosemite West (yosemitehouse.com).
